А ово бјеше дио синова Јудинијех по породицама њиховијем: уз међу Едомску, пустиња Син к југу на крају јужне стране;

This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families: The border of Edom at the Wilderness of Zin southward was the extreme southern boundary.

И бјеше им јужна међа од краја сланога мора, од залива који иде к југу.

And their southern border began at the shore of the Salt Sea, from the bay that faces southward.

А отуда иде на југ на брдо Акравим, прелази преко Сина, и пружа се од југа на Кадис-Варнију, и допире до Есрона, а отуда иде на Адар и савија се на Карку;

Then it went out to the southern side of the Ascent of Akrabbim, passed along to Zin, ascended on the south side of Kadesh Barnea, passed along to Hezron, went up to Adar, and went around to Karkaa.

Отуда идући до Аселмона излази на поток Мисирски, и крај тој међи удара у море. То вам је јужна међа.

From there it passed toward Azmon and went out to the Brook of Egypt; and the border ended at the sea. This shall be your southern border.

А међа к истоку слано море до краја Јордана; а међа са сјеверне стране од залива морскога, до краја Јордана;

The east border was the Salt Sea as far as the mouth of the Jordan. And the border on the northern quarter began at the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan.

Одатле иде та међа на Вет-Оглу, и пружа се од сјевера до Вет-Араве; и одатле иде та међа на камен Воана сина Рувимова;

The border went up to Beth Hoglah and passed north of Beth Arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.

Одатле иде та међа до Давира од долине Ахора, и на сјевер иде на Галгал, према брду Адумимском на јужној страни потока; потом иде та међа до воде Ен-Семеса, и удара у студенац Рогил;

Then the border went up toward Debir from the Valley of Achor, and it turned northward toward Gilgal, which is before the Ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley. The border continued toward the waters of En Shemesh and ended at En Rogel.

Одатле иде та међа преко долине синова Еномовијех покрај Јевусеја с југа, а то је Јерусалим; отуда иде међа на врх горе која је према долини Еному к западу и која је накрај долине Рафајске к сјеверу;

And the border went up by the Valley of the Son of Hinnom to the southern slope of the Jebusite city (which is Jerusalem). The border went up to the top of the mountain that lies before the Valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the Valley of Rephaim northward.

Потом се савија међа с врха те горе к извору воде Нефтоје и излази на градове у гори Ефрону; а одатле се пружа међа до Вала, а то је Киријат-Јарим;

Then the border went around from the top of the hill to the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and extended to the cities of Mount Ephron. And the border went around to Baalah (which is Kirjath Jearim).

Потом иде међа од Вала на запад ка гори Сиру, и иде покрај горе Јарима са сјевера, а то је Хасалон, и спушта се на Вет-Семес, и долази до Тамне;

Then the border turned westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, passed along to the side of Mount Jearim on the north (which is Chesalon), went down to Beth Shemesh, and passed on to Timnah.

И иде међа покрај Акарона к сјеверу, и допире до Сикрона, и иде преко горе Вала и пружа се до Јавнила, и излази та међа на море.

And the border went out to the side of Ekron northward. Then the border went around to Shicron, passed along to Mount Baalah, and extended to Jabneel; and the border ended at the sea.

А међа је западна покрај великога мора и његовијех међа. То су међе синова Јудинијих унаоколо по породицама њиховијем.

The west border was the coastline of the Great Sea. This is the boundary of the children of Judah all around according to their families.

А Халеву сину Јефонијину даде Исус дио међу синовима Јудинијем, као што му заповједи Господ: Киријат-Арву; а Арва је био отац Енаков, и то је Хеврон;

Now to Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a portion among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, namely, Kirjath Arba, which is Hebron (Arba was the father of Anak).

И одатле изагна Халев три сина Енакова: Сесаја и Ахимана и Талмаја синове Енакове.

Caleb drove out the three sons of Anak from there: Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.

И одатле отиде на Давиране; а Давир се прије зваше Киријат-Сефер.

Then he went up from there to the inhabitants of Debir (formerly the name of Debir was Kirjath Sepher).

И рече Халев: ко савлада Киријат-Сефер и узме га, даћу му за жену Ахсу кћер своју.

And Caleb said, "He who attacks Kirjath Sepher and takes it, to him I will give Achsah my daughter as wife."

И узе га Готонило син Кенезов, брат Халевов; и даде му Ахсу кћер своју за жену.

So Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.

Now it came about, when she came to him, that she persuaded him to ask her father for a field. So she dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, "What do you wish?"

А она рече: дај ми дар; кад си ми дао сухе земље, дај ми и извора воденијех. И даде јој изворе горње и изворе доње.

She answered, "Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water." So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

Ово је нашљедство племена синова Јудинијех по породицама њиховијем;

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families:

Ово су градови по крајевима племена синова Јудинијех, дуж међе Едомске к југу: Кавсеил и Едер и Јагур,

The cities at the limits of the tribe of the children of Judah, toward the border of Edom in the South, were Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,

И Кина и Димона и Адада,

Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,

И Кадес и Асор и Итнан,

Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,

Зиф и Телем и Валот,

Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,

И Асор-Адата и Кириот; Есрон је Асор;

Hazor, Hadattah, Kerioth, Hezron (which is Hazor),

Амам и Сама и Молада,

Amam, Shema, Moladah,

И Асар-Гада и Есемон и Вет-Фалет,

Hazar Gaddah, Heshmon, Beth Pelet,

И Асар-Суал и Вир-Савеја и Визиотија,

Hazar Shual, Beersheba, Bizjothjah,

Вала и Им и Асем,

Baalah, Ijim, Ezem,

И Елтолад и Хесил и Орма,

Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,

И Сиклаг и Мадмана и Сансана,

Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,

И Леваот и Силеим и Ајин и Римон; свега двадесет и девет градова са селима својим.

Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty-nine, with their villages.

У равни Естаол и Сараја и Асна,

In the lowland: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,

И Заноја и Ен-Ганим, Тафуја и Инам,

Zanoah, En Gannim, Tappuah, Enam,

Јармут и Одолам, Сохот и Азика.

Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,

И Сагарим и Адитајим и Гедира и Гедиротајим; четрнаест градова са селима својим.

Sharaim, Adithaim, Gederah, and Gederothaim: fourteen cities with their villages;

Севан и Адаса и Магдал-Гад,

Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal Gad,

И Дилан и Миспа и Јоктеил,

Dilean, Mizpah, Joktheel,

Лахис и Васкат и Јеглон,

Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,

И Хавон и Ламас и Хитлис,

Cabbon, Lahmas, Kithlish,

И Гедирот, Вет-Дагон, и Нама и Макида; шеснаест градова са селима својим.

Gederoth, Beth Dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteen cities with their villages;

Ливна и Етер и Асан,

Libnah, Ether, Ashan,

И Јефта и Асна и Несив,

Jiphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,

И Кеила и Ахзив и Мариса; девет градова са селима својим.

Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages;

Акарон са селима и засеоцима;

Ekron, with its towns and villages;

Од Акарона до мора све што је покрај Азота са селима својим;

from Ekron to the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages;

Азот са селима и засеоцима, Газа са селима и засеоцима до потока Мисирскога и до великога мора с међама.

Ashdod with its towns and villages, Gaza with its towns and villages--as far as the Brook of Egypt and the Great Sea with its coastline.

А у гори: Самир и Јатир и Сохот,

And in the mountain country: Shamir, Jattir, Sochoh,

И Дана и Киријат-Сана, а то је Давир,

Dannah, Kirjath Sannah (which is Debir),

И Анав и Естемон и Аним,

Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,

И Госен и Олон и Гилон; једанаест градова са селима својим.

Goshen, Holon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages;

Арав и Дума и Есан,

Arab, Dumah, Eshean,

И Јанум и Вет-Тафуја и Афека,

Janum, Beth Tappuah, Aphekah,

И Хумата и Киријат-Арва, а то је Хеврон, и Сиор; девет градова са селима својим.

Humtah, Kirjath Arba (which is Hebron), and Zior: nine cities with their villages;

Маон, Кармел и Зиф и Јута,

Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,

Језраел и Јогдеам и Заноја,

Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,

Кајин, Гаваја и Тамна; десет градова са селима својим.

Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages;

Алул, Вет-Сур и Гедор,

Halhul, Beth Zur, Gedor,

И Марат и Вет-Анот и Елтекон; шест градова са селима својим.

Maarath, Beth Anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their villages;

Киријат-Вал, то је Киријат-Јарим, и Рава; два града са селима својим.

Kirjath Baal (which is Kirjath Jearim) and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.

У пустињи: Вет-Арава, Мидин и Сехаха,

In the wilderness: Beth Arabah, Middin, Secacah,

И Нивсан, и град сони, и Енгадија; шест градова са селима својим.

Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En Gedi: six cities with their villages.

А Јевусеја који живљаху у Јерусалиму не могоше истјерати синови Јудини; зато осташе Јевусеји са синовима Јудинијем у Јерусалиму до данас.

As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.
