Боже! немој замукнути, немој шутјети, нити почивај, Боже!

Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God!

Јер ево непријатељи твоји узавреше, и који те ненавиде, подигоше главу.

For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.

По народ твој зло наумише, и договарају се на избране твоје.

They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.

Рекоше: ходите да их истријебимо између народа да се више не спомиње име Израиљево.

They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more."

Сложно присташе и супрот теби вјеру ухватише:

For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You:

Насеља Едомова и Исмаиловци, Моав и Агарени,

The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagarites;

Гевал и Амон и Амалик, Филистеји с Тирцима;

Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

И Асур удружи се с њима; постадоше мишица синовима Лотовијем.

Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah

Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera, As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,

Који су истријебљени у Аендору, нагнојише собом земљу.

Who perished at Endor, Who became as refuse on the earth.

Уради с њима, с кнезовима њиховијем, као с Оривом и Зивом, и са свима главарима њиховијем као са Зевејем и Салманом.

Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

Јер говоре: освојимо насеља Божија.

Who said, "Let us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession."

Боже мој! заповједи нека буду као прах, као пијесак пред вјетром.

O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind!

Као што огањ сажиже шуму, и као пламен што запаљује горе,

As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,

Тако их погнај буром својом и вихором својим смети их.

So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm.

Покриј лице њихово срамотом, да би тражили име твоје, Господе!

Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O LORD.

Нека се стиде и сраме довијека, нека се смету и изгину!

Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,

И нека знаду да си ти, којему је име Господ, једини највиши над свом земљом.

That men may know that You, whose name alone is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth.
