И одвоји Давид с војводама за службу синове Асафове и Еманове и Једутунове, који ће пророковати уз гусле и псалтире и кимвале; и бише између њих избројени људи за посао у својој служби:

Moreover David and the captains of the army separated for the service some of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, stringed instruments, and cymbals. And the number of the workmen according to their service was:

Од синова Асафовијех: Захур и Јосиф и Нетанија и Асарила, синови Асафови, под руком Асафа, који пророковаше по наредби царевој;

Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied according to the order of the king.

Од Једутуна: шест синова Једутуновијех: Гедалија и Сорије и Јесаија, Асавија и Мататија и Симеј под руком оца својега Једутуна, који пророковаше уз гусле хвалећи и славећи Господа;

Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

Од Емана: синови Еманови: Вукија, Матанија, Озило, Севуило и Јеримот, Ананија и Ананије, Елијата, Гидалтија и Ромамти-Езер, Јосвекаса, Малотије, Отир и Мазиот.

Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

Ти сви бијаху синови Емана видиоца царева у ријечима Божијим да се узвишује рог; јер Бог даде Еману четрнаест синова и три кћери.

All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to exalt his horn. For God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

Сви они бијаху под руком оца својега пјевајући у дому Господњем уз кимвале и псалтире и гусле за службу у дому Божијем, како цар наређиваше Асафу и Једутуну и Еману.

All these were under the direction of their father for the music in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the authority of the king.

И бјеше их на број с браћом њиховом обученом пјесмама Господњим, двјеста и осамдесет и осам, самијех вјештака.

So the number of them, with their brethren who were instructed in the songs of the LORD, all who were skillful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.

И бацише ждријеб за службу своју, мали као велики, учитељ као ученик;

And they cast lots for their duty, the small as well as the great, the teacher with the student.

И паде први ждријеб за Асафа на Јосифа, други на Гедалију с браћом и синовима његовијем, њих дванаест;

Now the first lot for Asaph came out for Joseph; the second for Gedaliah, him with his brethren and sons, twelve;

Трећи на Захура, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the third for Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Четврти на Исерија, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the fourth for Jizri, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Пети на Нетанију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the fifth for Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Шести на Вукију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the sixth for Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Седми на Јесарилу, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the seventh for Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Осми на Јесаију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the eighth for Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Девети на Матанију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the ninth for Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Десети на Симеја, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the tenth for Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

the eleventh for Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Дванаести на Асавију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the twelfth for Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Тринаести на Савуила, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the thirteenth for Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Четрнаести на Мататију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the fourteenth for Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Петнаести на Јеремота, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the fifteenth for Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Шеснаести на Ананију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the sixteenth for Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Седамнаести на Јосвекасу, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the seventeenth for Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Осамнаести на Ананија, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the eighteenth for Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Деветнаести на Малотија, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the nineteenth for Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Двадесети на Елијату, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the twentieth for Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Двадесет први на Отира, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the twenty-first for Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Двадесет други на Гидалтију, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the twenty-second for Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Двадесет трећи на Мазиота, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест;

the twenty-third for Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

Двадесет четврти на Ромамти-Езера, синове његове и браћу његову, њих дванаест.
