Ово су синови Израиљеви: Рувим, Симеун, Левије и Јуда, Исахар и Завулон,

These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

Дан, Јосиф и Венијамин, Нефталим, Гад и Асир.

Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

Синови Јудини: Ир и Авнан и Сила; та му три роди кћи Сувина Хананејка; али Ир првенац Јудин бјеше неваљао пред Господом, те га уби.

The sons of Judah were Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. Er, the firstborn of Judah, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and He killed him.

А Тамара снаха његова роди му Фареса и Зару. Свега пет бјеше синова Јудинијех.

And Tamar, his daughter-in-law, bore him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

Синови Фаресови: Есрон и Амул.

The sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul.

А синови Зарини: Зимрије и Етан и Еман и Халкол и Дара; свега пет.

The sons of Zerah were Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara--five of them in all.

The son of Carmi was Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the accursed thing.

А синови Етанови: Азарија.

The son of Ethan was Azariah.

А синови Есронови, што му се родише: Јерамеило и Арам и Халев.

Also the sons of Hezron who were born to him were Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.

А Арам роди Аминадава, а Аминадав роди Насона, кнеза синова Јудинијех;

Ram begot Amminadab, and Amminadab begot Nahshon, leader of the children of Judah;

А Насон роди Салмона; а Салмон роди Воза;

Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz;

А Воз роди Овида; а Овид роди Јесеја;

Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;

А Јесеј роди првенца својега Елијава, и Авинадава другога и Саму трећега,

Jesse begot Eliab his firstborn, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,

Натанаила четвртога, Радаја петога,

Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

Осема шестога, Давида седмога,

Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh.

И сестре им Серују и Авигеју. А синови Серујини бјеху Ависај и Јоав и Асаило, тројица.

Now their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel-- three.

А Авигеја роди Амасу; а отац Амасин бјеше Јетер Исмаиљац.

Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

А Халев син Есронов роди с Азувом женом својом и с Јериотом синове, и синови му бјеху Јесер и Совав и Ардон.

Caleb the son of Hezron begot children by Azubah, his wife, and by Jerioth. Now these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

А кад умрије Азува, Халев се ожени Ефратом, која му роди Ора;

When Azubah died, Caleb took Ephrath as his wife, who bore him Hur.

А Ор роди Урију, а Урија роди Веселеила.

And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.

Потом отиде Есрон ка кћери Махира оца Галадова, и ожени се њом кад му бијаше шездесет година, и она му роди Сегува.

Now afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.

А Сегув роди Јаира, који имаше двадесет и три града у земљи Галадској.

Segub begot Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

Јер узе Гесурејима и Сирцима села Јаирова и Кенат са селима његовијем, шездесет градова. То све узеше синови Махира оца Галадова.

(Geshur and Syria took from them the towns of Jair, with Kenath and its towns--sixty towns.) All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

И кад умрије Есрон у Халев-Ефрати, жена Есронова Авија роди му Асхора оца Текојанима.

After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Hezron's wife Abijah bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

А синови Јерамеила првенца Есронова бјеху: првенац Арам, па Вуна и Орен и Осем и Ахија.

The sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram, the firstborn, and Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

Имаше и другу жену Јерамеило, по имену Атару, она је мати Онамова.

Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

А синови Арама првенца Јерамеилова бјеху: Мас и Јамин и Екер.

The sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

И синови Онамови бјеху: Самај и Јадај; а синови Самајеви: Надав и Ависур.

The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai were Nadab and Abishur.

И име жени Ависуровој бјеше Авихаила, која му роди Авана и Молида.

And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.

А синови Надавови: Селед и Апаим; али Селед умрије без дјеце.

The sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim; Seled died without children.

А синови Апаилови: Јесеј; а синови Јесејеви: Сисан, и кћи Сисанова Алаја.

The son of Appaim was Ishi, the son of Ishi was Sheshan, and Sheshan's child was Ahlai.

А синови Јадаја брата Самајева: Јетер и Јонатан; али Јетер умрије без дјеце.

The sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai, were Jether and Jonathan; Jether died without children.

А синови Јонатанови: Фалет и Заза. Ти бијаху синови Јерамеилови.

The sons of Jonathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

А Сисан не имаше синова него кћери; и имаше Сисан слугу Мисирца по имену Јарају.

Now Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. And Sheshan had an Egyptian servant whose name was Jarha.

Зато Сисан даде кћер своју Јараји слузи својему за жену; а она му роди Атаја.

Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife, and she bore him Attai.

А Атај роди Натана; а Натан роди Завада;

Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad;

А Завад роди Ефлала; а Ефлал роди Овида;

Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed;

А Овид роди Јуја; а Јуј роди Азарију;

Obed begot Jehu, and Jehu begot Azariah;

А Азарија роди Хелиса; а Хелис роди Елеасу;

Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Eleasah;

А Елеаса роди Сисамаја; а Сисамај роди Салума;

Eleasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum;

А Салум роди Јекамију; а Јекамија роди Елисама.

Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.

А синови Халева брата Јерамеилова бјеху: Миса првенац његов, отац Зифејима; па синови Марисе оца Хевронова.

The descendants of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

А синови Хевронови: Кореј и Тафуја и Рекем и Сема.

The sons of Hebron were Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

А Сема роди Рама оца Јоркоамова; а Рекем роди Самаја.

Shema begot Raham the father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begot Shammai.

А син Самајев бјеше Маон, а тај Маон би отац Вет-Суру.

And the son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.

И Гефа иноча Халевова роди Харана и Мосу и Газеса.

Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.

А синови Јадајеви: Регем и Јотам и Гисан и Фелет и Гефа и Сагаф.

And the sons of Jahdai were Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

Маха иноча Халевова роди Севера и Тирхану.

Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.

Роди и Сагафа оца Мадманцима и Севу оца Махвинцима и Гавајанима; а кћи Халевова бијаше Ахса.

She also bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

Ово бијаху синови Халева сина Ора првенца Ефратина; Совал отац Киријат-Јариму,

These were the descendants of Caleb: The sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, were Shobal the father of Kirjath Jearim,

Салма отац Витлејему, Ареф отац Вет-Гадеру.

Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth Gader.

А имаше синове Совал отац Киријат-Јариму: Ароја и Аси-Аменухота.

And Shobal the father of Kirjath Jearim had descendants: Haroeh, and half of the families of Manuhoth.

А породице Киријат-јаримске бјеху: Јетрани и Фућани и Сумаћани и Мисрајани. Од њих изидоше Сараћани и Естаољани.

The families of Kirjath Jearim were the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites. From these came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.

Синови Салмини: Витлејемци и Нетофаћани, Атароћани од дома Јоавова, и Зорани, половина Манахаћана,

The sons of Salma were Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, half of the Manahethites, and the Zorites.

И породице писарске у Јавису, Тираћани, Симеаћани, Сухаћани; то су Кенеји, који се народише од Емата, оца дома Рихавова.

And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez were the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Suchathites. These were the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
