Синови Јафетови: Гомер и Магог и Мадај и Јаван и Товел и Мосох и Тирас.

The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

А синови Гомерови: Асхенас и Рафат и Тогарма.

The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Diphath, and Togarmah.

А синови Јаванови: Елиса и Тарсис, Китим и Доданим.

The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshishah, Kittim, and Rodanim.

Синови Хамови: Хус и Мисраим, Фут и Ханан.

The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

А синови Хусови: Сава и Авила и Савата и Регма и Саватака. А синови Регмини: Сава и Дедан.

The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raama, and Sabtecha. The sons of Raama were Sheba and Dedan.

И Хус роди Неврода. Он први би силан на земљи.

Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.

А Мисраим роди Лудеје и Анамеје и Леавеје и Нафтухеје,

Mizraim begot Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,

И Патрусеје и Хаслухеје, од којих изидоше Филистеји и Кафтореји.

Pathrusim, Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines and the Caphtorim).

А Ханан роди Сидона првенца својега, и Хета,

Canaan begot Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth;

И Јевусеје и Амореје и Гергесеје,

the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite;

И Јевеје и Арукеје и Асенеје,

the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite;

И Арвадеје и Самареје и Аматеје.

the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

Синови Симови: Елам и Асур и Арфаксад и Луд и Арам и Уз и Ул и Гетер и Месех.

The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.

А Арфаксад роди Салу, а Сала роди Евера.

Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.

А Еверу се родише два сина; једноме беше име Фалег, јер се у његово вријеме раздијели земља; а име брату његову Јектан.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

А Јектан роди Алмодада и Салефа и Асармота и Јараха,

Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

И Адорама и Узала и Диклу,

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

И Евала и Авимаила и Саву,

Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,

И Офира и Евилу и Јовава: ти сви бјеху синови Јектанови.

Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

Сим, Арфаксад, Сала,

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

Евер, Фалет, Рагав,

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

Серух, Нахор, Тара,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

Аврам, то је Аврам.

and Abram, that is Abraham.

Синови Аврамови: Исак и Исмаило.

The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael.

Ово је племе њихово: првенац Исмаилов Навајот, па Кидар и Авдеило и Мивсам.

These are their genealogies: The firstborn of Ishmael was Nabajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael.

А синови Хетуре иноче Аврамове: она роди Земрана и Јоксана и Мадана и Мадијана и Јесвока и Суја. А синови Јоксанови: Сава и Дедан.

Now the sons born to Keturah, Abraham's concubine, were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan.

А синови Мадијанови: Гефа и Ефер и Енох и Авида и Елдага. Ти сви бјеху синови Хетурини.

The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

Тако Аврам роди Исака; а синови Исакови бјеху Исав и Израиљ.

And Abraham begot Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.

Синови Исавови: Елифас, Рагуило и Јеус и Јеглом и Кореј.

The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah.

Синови Елифасови: Теман и Омар, Софар и Готом, Кенез и Тамна и Амалик.

And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, and Kenaz; and by Timna, Amalek.

Синови Рагуилови: Нахат, Зара и Сома и Моза.

The sons of Reuel were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

А синови Сирови: Лотан и Совал и Севегон и Ана и Дисон и Есер и Дисан.

The sons of Seir were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.

А синови Лотанови: Хорије и Емам; а сестра Лотанова Тамна.

And the sons of Lotan were Hori and Homam; Lotan's sister was Timna.

Синови Совалови: Елан и Манахат и Евал, Сефија и Онам. А синови Севегонови: Аја и Ана.

The sons of Shobal were Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon were Ajah and Anah.

Синови Анини: Дисон, и синови Дисонови Амрам и Асван и Итран и Харан.

The son of Anah was Dishon. The sons of Dishon were Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.

Синови Есерови: Валан и Заван и Јакан. Синови Дисанови: Уз и Аран.

The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.

А ово су цареви који цароваше у земљи Едомској прије него се зацари цар над синовима Израиљевијем: Валак син Веоров, а граду му бјеше име Денава.

Now these were the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

А кад умрије Валак, зацари се на његово мјесто Јовав син Зарин од Восоре.

And when Bela died, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.

А кад умрије Јовав, зацари се на његово мјесто Асом од земље Темановске.

When Jobab died, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

And when Husham died, Hadad the son of Bedad, who attacked Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith.

А кад умрије Адад, зацари се на његово мјесто Самада из Масекаса.

When Hadad died, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.

А кад умрије Самада, зацари се на његово мјесто Саул из Ровота на ријеци.

And when Samlah died, Saul of Rehoboth-by-the- River reigned in his place.

А кад умрије Саул, зацари се на његово мјесто Валенон син Аховоров.

When Saul died, Baal-Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.

А кад умрије Валенон, зацари се на његово мјесто Адад; а град му се зваше Фогор, а жени му бјеше име Метевеила кћи Матраиде кћери Мезовове.

And when Baal-Hanan died, Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pai. His wife's name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

А кад умрије Адад, насташе кнезови у Едомској: кнез Тамна, кнез Алва, кнез Јетет,

Hadad died also. And the chiefs of Edom were Chief Timnah, Chief Aliah, Chief Jetheth,

Кнез Оливема, кнез Ила, кнез Финон,

Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,

Кнез Кенез, кнез Теман, кнез Мивсар,

Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,

Кнез Магедило, кнез Ирам. То бјеху кнезови Едомски.

Chief Magdiel, and Chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
