Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And sons were born to them after the flood.

The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

А синови Гамерови: Асханас и Рифат и Тогарма.

The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

А синови Јаванови: Елиса и Тарсис, Китим и Доданим.

The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

Од њих се раздијелише острва народна на земљама својим, свако по језику својему и по породицама својим, у народима својим.

From these the coastland peoples of the Gentiles were separated into their lands, everyone according to his own language, according to their families, into their nations.

А синови Хамови: Хус и Месраин, Фуд и Ханан.

The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

А синови Хусови: Сава и Евила и Савата и Регма и Саватака. А синови Регмини: Сава и Дадан.

The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

Хус роди и Неврода; а он први би силан на земљи;

Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.

Бјеше добар ловац пред Господом; зато се каже: добар ловац пред Господом као Неврод.

He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD."

А почетак царству његову бјеше Вавилон и Орех и Архад и Халани у земљи Сенару.

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Из те земље изађе Асур, и сазида Ниневију и Ровот град и Халах,

From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah,

И Дасем између Ниневије и Халаха; то је град велик.

and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city).

А Месраин роди Лудеје и Енемеје и Лавеје и Нефталеје,

Mizraim begot Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naphtuhim,

И Патросеје и Хасмеје, одакле изађоше Филистеји и Гафтореји.

Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whom came the Philistines and Caphtorim).

А Ханан роди Сидона, првенца својега, и Хета,

Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth;

И Јевусеја и Амореја и Гергесеја,

the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite;

И Евеја и Арукеја и Асенеја,

the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite;

И Арадеја и Самареја и Аматеја. А послије се расијаше племена Хананејска.

the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. Afterward the families of the Canaanites were dispersed.

И бјеху међе Хананејске од Сидона идући на Герар па до Газе, и идући на Содом и Гомор и Адаму и Севојим па до Даса.

And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; then as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, as far as Lasha.

То су синови Хамови по породицама својим и по језицима својим, у земљама својим и у народима својим.

These were the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands and in their nations.

И Симу родише се синови, најстаријему брату Јафетову, оцу свијех синова Еверовијех.

And children were born also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder.

Синови Симови бјеху: Елам и Асур и Арфаксад и Луд и Арам.

The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram.

А синови Арамови: Уз и Ул и Гатер и Мас.

The sons of Aram were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Mash.

А Арфаксад роди Салу, а Сала роди Евера.

Arphaxad begot Salah, and Salah begot Eber.

А Еверу се родише два сина: једном бјеше име Фалек, јер се у његово вријеме раздијели земља, а брату његову име Јектан.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

А Јектан роди Елмодада и Салета и Сармота и Јараха,

Joktan begot Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

И Одора и Евила и Деклу,

Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,

И Евала и Авимаила и Саву,

Obal, Abimael, Sheba,

И Уфира и Евилу и Јовава, ти сви бјеху синови Јектанови.

Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

И живљаху од Масе, како се иде на Сафир до гора источнијех.

And their dwelling place was from Mesha as you go toward Sephar, the mountain of the east.

То су синови Симови по породицама својим и по језицима својим, у земљама својим и у народима својим;

These were the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands, according to their nations.

То су породице синова Нојевијех по племенима својим, у народима својим; и од њих се раздијелише народи по земљи послије потопа.

These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood.
